After the Storm
It seems like you got left out after this go round of storms, doesn’t it? For a few days it was all Gustav and Ike, and now it’s the election and the economy. What happened to all the attention that followed Katrina and Rita? Where’s the sympathy and concern, the outpouring of support? Does anybody remember? Does anybody care?
Valid questions, it seems to me. And, I’ve got an answer. It’s short and simple… “Yes.” Philippians 4:13 says “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” It doesn’t say I can do them by myself. It doesn’t say I can do the ones I want to. It says I can do ALL things THROUGH CHRIST.
So, are you going to get through this?
Yes.
Is it going to be easy?
Probably not.
Are you going it alone?
No.
We remember. We care. And we’re here for you.
Don’t forget that.
